"To improve the lives of millions of people around the world living with life-affecting symptoms of hormone change."

Our research

It is no exaggeration to say that hormones are crucial not only to well-being but to life itself. But what exactly are they, how do they change at significant stages of life (puberty, pregnancy, perimenopause, menopause, andropause) and how can they best be supported for improved health and well-being? These are the questions that the Health & Her Centre for Research is dedicated to exploring and explaining using the latest scientific data to examine all aspects of hormonal health, including advances in the emerging field of hormo-nutrient science.

Our data-driven approach

Using a combination of clinical trials, our own research studies and drawing on a wealth of data across online platforms, this is a site which is intended for anyone with a special interest in hormonal health and aims to elucidate and raise awareness of this constantly evolving area of study. Examining the latest research findings also helps us to identify and highlight how hormonal self-care plays a pivotal role in supporting hormonal equilibrium and well-being.

As leading specialists in hormonal health, our three key pillars of research are:

The PROPHECY Project

The PROPHECY (Predicting the Risks of Oestrogen-related Pathologies on Health Erosion to Conserve Healthy Years) project investigates the impact of lifetime exposure to oestrogen (that is, the amount of time between a woman’s first period and her last, at menopause) and how this impacts on physical and psychological health and lifespan.
